HISTORY :-
Born on 6th June, 1955 in the Northern Indian city of Delhi, Vinodji developed an inclination and an amazing acumen for the bhajans and kirtans at a very early age. At the age of 7, in 1962 he migrated to Mumbai with his family.

As a child Vinodji was quite inclined towards religious epics, like the parents of many other great saints Vinodji's parents were adorned with the hearts that were blessed with purity, nobility and great reverence to teachers and saints. Being the firm believer of lord Krishna and Rahadaji, his parents encouraged bhajans and kirtans and invited saints and gurus at home. Gradually by the age of 12 Vinodji started singing and learnt harmonium instinctively.

Wife has been the backbone with unconditional support and seldom accompanies to his programmes.

Father encouraged him during childhood and up to the age of 18 to visit voluntarily people and get them involved in kirtans amidst criticism. Non stop radha madhav kirtan, janmashtami, shivratri etc. gave him stamina to conduct uninterrupted long sankirtan programmes.
